"I have been a longtime surfer in California and I couldn't see paying the hefty board bag fee so I decided to rent a board in Oahu.  I usually bring my own board because I like to ride something familiar.  When I met Malcolm he was a very genuine person who was very helpful with tips on how to get around the island.  The process was super easy, from navigating the site, to picking up the board and he even arranged for me to drop off the boards with his nephew so it would be easier for me to drop it off.  All that said, I enjoyed the board I rented very much.  I was weary at trying a different board in unfamiliar waters, but the recommendation Malcolm made for the conditions I was expecting was spot on.  I enjoyed the board very much and they had many choices in types and styles that my friend Joanna got a board as well.  I will definitely be going back to Surf Bruddahs when I go back to the Islands.  It was a easy, friendly, practical and enjoyable experience all around!!"

"I come to Hawaii for work so the thought of having to go out and rent a board every morning before work and then go back after work is not only time consuming it can get very costly.

I looked up Surf Bruddans online and was actually shocked someone picked up the phone.  Malcolm was extremely helpful.  He told me what they had available and what might work depending where I was going to surf.  I come to Oahu 4 or 5 times a year so I needed a monster longboard to surf Waikiki.  I arranged everything over the phone and Malcolm said he would meet me at my hotel at a prearranged time.

I arrived 2 days later and everything went smoothly.  Malcolm called to confirm the drop off 15 minutes prior as he had promised.  He showed up with boards that looked almost brand new.  He gave me the boards and a bar of wax.  Sometimes when you deal with other operations they take the info over the phone and you never hear from them again.  Malcolm showed with paperwork, showed me the cost (savings of more than half of what the guys on the beach charge and the boards don't look like they are barely rideable) and arranged a pick up time.

Needless to say things were perfect.  I will be back in October and the Surf Bruddahs will be getting a call from me for some boards.

The board was the best thing I have ever rented in Oahu, and I was able to keep it for the entire time I was there, not worrying about how much time I had before having to rush it back to a surf shop. You guys are super friendly, and have great customer service skills. I wish I was one of your Surf Bruddahs (can you adopt me? Ha, ha).
